The Skunk line runs the 40 miles between Fort Bragg to Willits at a leisurely pace, following the coastal Redwood Route as it has since 1885. Along the way the tracks cross some 30 bridges and trestles and pass through two deep mountain tunnels.
And now, the Redwood Line has rail bikes for rent! You can rent a trailer to pull behind your rail bike for your dog for an additional $30!
Policy Details
Dogs are the only pets permitted on the train and there is a $10 charge. To ride the rail bikes, you must rent a trailer which will keep your dog safe.
