Named for the famous author that spent much of his boyhood here, this is a water-front village where you can enjoy shopping, dining and entertainment. Your leashed dog is welcome to explore with you. Avoid visiting on Sundays, as there is a popular farmer's market on the main walkway which does not allow dogs.
