This unique campus, founded in 1855, includes many of the same things seen on other campuses, and also has a bug house, a planetarium, the oldest, continuously operated, university botanical garden of its kind in the US, several farms that are home to sheep, cows, horses, pigs and chickens, an observatory and an ice area. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome to explore the grounds with you, but are not allowed in the buildings.
