This fort was built by Mormon missionaries, the first permanent non-native settlers in the Las Vegas Valley. The adobe fort was built along the Las Vegas Creek in 1855, and you can learn about the history of the site, as well as see historic artifacts. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the grounds.
