No matter the season there is plenty to do at this resort located near the top of a 11,245-foot volcano. In winter they have cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and in the summer the sightseeing and hiking are fantastic, with views of Mt. Hood's summit, nearby Mt. Jefferson, and the world-famous glacier, Palmer Snowfield. Well behaved, leashed pets are allowed on the grounds, but not in the buildings. Check the signs at the trailheads to determine which are pet-friendly.
