You're never too far from the fun in Killington. It's just three miles to the slopes and only 23 miles to Okemo Mountain. Pick up some gear at nearby Aspen East Ski Shop or have a quick breakfast at Butternut Inn & Pancake House, both just moments away by car.
Alpine luxury never looked this good. Natural wood abounds, from floor to ceiling to walls. And a vaulted ceiling evokes images of Swiss chalets and mountain hideaways.
Enter the main doors and you're transported to another world. Up a few steps you'll find a massive great room, with hardwood floors, a black leather couch, a red sectional couch, flatscreen TV and a door leading to an outdoor deck with four patio chairs and two rocking chairs. An animal pelt hangs over a large stone wood-burning fireplace and the vaulted ceiling features skylights. A foosball table sits just off the space and if you walk down the hall, you'll come across the expansive kitchen, which boasts a large stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, a wood island with seating for four and a dining table for four.
To the left of the kitchen is a small family/living area with another wood fireplace and leather sofa as well as a dining table with a bench and five chairs. Gaze upon the vintage skis and rooster statue as you toast marshmallows over the fire.
From the main living area you can head up one flight to a sleeping loft featuring two twin beds and two full beds and built-in wooden dressers. Skylights let in tons of light and are a great way to gaze at the stars at night.
Behind the kitchen you'll find two private bedrooms with two double beds. A full bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower is down the hall. The stairs to the left of the main kitchen lead to the second story at which you can find two bedrooms - one with two twin beds and the other with a double - a twin-bedded loft and a bathroom.
Head down a flight of stairs at the main entrance and you'll find another complete living space. The carpeted living space boasts two wicker chairs, a plush couch, a wood-burning fireplace and TV. A kitchen just sits off the living space and boasts a fridge and range as well as a breakfast bar built for four guests. Down the hall are two bedrooms, perfect for kids, with a connecting door. One bedroom boasts a bunk bed with one twin and one full bed, as well as an additional twin bed. The other boasts a bunk with a twin on top and a full on bottom. A bath with a standing shower lies just down the hall.
Guests have access to a washer and dryer on-site, as well as free WiFi. Wood is provided so you never have to leave home to get nice and toasty. The private new hot tub can be found on the 1,000-square-foot deck and enjoyed year round. One dog is allowed, with an extra nightly fee; some breed restrictions apply.
Killington is a resort town known for its amazing skiing. You can be on the slopes in less than 10 minutes. It's one of the top resorts in the Northeast and lures travelers from all over the world.
