Located in the heart of the small-town community of Woodstock, there are a number of delicious eateries nearby, as well as a handful of parks with trails for pleasant walks. All your skiing desires will be met - Suicide Six Ski Area is about four miles away, and Killington Ski Resort is just 20 miles away.

The house has an atmosphere of elegance with tasteful decor and high-end furniture, making you feel more than at home. Take a load off on the comfy white furnishings in the living room. Read a book, watch some TV, or have a pleasant conversation. Take some refreshments out to the deck on a breezy afternoon. A lower level patio with furniture is perfect for moments when you want to enjoy fresh air with a little more privacy.

A full kitchen is fitted with everything you need to make exceptional home-cooked meals and a dishwasher for convenience. Two may sit at the breakfast bar for a quick snack while the whole group will fit at the round table with bench-style seating.

For entertainment, head downstairs to the TV room, where you can watch cable on the large flatscreen while lounging on leather furniture, or browse on the complimentary WiFi.

Three bedrooms and two full baths allow this home to comfortably sleep up to eight travelers. One room has two twin beds while the other two rooms each feature a queen bed. A sofabed will sleep any remaining guests. Taking care of laundry is also easy with a private washer/dryer. A non-shedding dog under 30 pounds may join for a small nightly fee.

This house is perfect for a family or a group of friends who are looking to explore the region. Take a trip to the Billings Farm and Museum. This old dairy farm, which has been operating since the late 1800's, gives you a taste of what life was like back then. Follow it up with a visit to the emerald pastures at the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park, where you'll hear anecdotes and learn about the historical roles of these big families in the area. When you stroll through the cobblestone downtown after, you'll see it in a whole new light.

A visit in fall, of course, requires sightseeing of the majestic foliage around town, and a trip to the Sugarbush Farm for fresh maple syrup! When the colors flame out and the winter comes, snow transforms this luscious landscape. Luckily, the Suicide Six Ski Ara has 24 trails of assorted difficulty for all levels to enjoy, and a 20-mile drive will bring you to more slopes at Killington Ski Resort. End your day with a cup of hot chocolate while reading Robert Frost to inspire pleasant dreams.
