A barrier island off the coast of Massachusetts, Plum Island is home to the Parker River, Merrimack River, The Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and Sandy Point State Park. This is a fantastic destination for the bird watching enthusiast. Leashed pets are welcome from October 1st through April 1st, during the off season.
