This 109 mile trail runs from Deadwood to Edgemont over more than 100 converted rail road bridges and through four hardrock tunnels on what used to be the Burlington Northern train line. Users of the trail must purchase a trail pass ($3 for the day). Leashed pets are welcome. Leashes must be no long than 10 feet. Trail maps are available online.
