The oldest surviving garden in North America, John Bartram's garden is an oasis along the Schuylkill River. Stroll the gardens and hike or bike the Bartram trail. They also have a boat launch and a kayaking program. You may borrow a boat (on Saturdays) but you must bring your dog's life jacket. Or launch your own vessel from the public dock.
