Best Time To Visit

Summer and fall are the most popular times of the year to visit Minnesota. Summer days in the northern part of the state and along Lake Superior are quite pleasant, with lower temperatures and less humidity. By the beginning of September, the entire state has cooled considerably and the summer rain has dried up. As October approaches, the hardwood trees begin their autumn show and the skies are reliably blue. But the window of opportunity is short, as snow may fall as early as late October. Hotels deals are most likely to be found from November to April, but this is not an ideal time for a pet friendly trip to Minnesota. The winters here are some of the most brutal in the entire United States.
