This glacier is 27 miles long, and is the largest active glacier that is accessible by car in Alaska. You can take the 15 - 20 minute hike to the glacier on your own, or join a fully guided glacier trek to learn about glaciology and history. Well behaved, leashed dogs are allowed on the trails and at the glacier.
