Established in 1876 and abandoned in 1924, this fort now showcases the role of the North West Mounted Police in the Canadian West. Four of the five original buildings are outfitted with period furniture. The stockade and bastions have been reconstructed and the barracks offers an interpretive display. Leashed pets are welcome on the grounds but are not permitted inside buildings.
