Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center invites visitors to come explore this 104 acre park complete with wooded hills, grassy fields, streams, ponds, wet meadows, a wildflower and fern garden, and a butterfly/hummingbird garden. There are also fields for soccer, baseball, and softball plus a community garden and a large playground. Offering an extensive calendar of events and nature-oriented classes this destination offers educational and recreational opportunities alike. Leashed dogs are welcome.
