Arrange for a private tour, or simply stroll around the grounds of the fabulous Riverbank estate that once belonged to Colonel George and Nelle Fabyan. In 1907 Frank Lloyd Wright was hired to enlarge and remodel this home. Shortly thereafter, the estate became a lavish showplace complete with fountains, extensive gardens, swimming pools, a windmill, private zoo, tennis courts and more. Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to explore the grounds and the adjacent forest preserve with you, but are not allowed in the buildings or in the Japanese Garden.
