Beartown State Forest, boasting a 35-acre pond, has an extensive network of trails which meander throughout this 12,000 acre site. Deer, bear, bobcat, and other wildlife can be spotted while hiking the trails. Complete with beaver ponds, deciduous forest, flowering shrubs, wildflowers, and seasonally changing foliage, there certainly is no shortage of scenic beauty at Beartown. Leashed pets are welcome.
