Once a thriving American Indian trade community, what remains today at this 1,100-acre monument are the ruins of four mission churches built by early 17th-century Spanish Franciscans. Well behaved, leashed pets are allowed on the grounds and trails. Note: The ruins are miles apart. Check the website for locations.
