This restored fort was built by the founder of Knoxville in 1786. There are hands-on interpretations on open-hearth cooking, blacksmithing and spinning, as well as special events during the year. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the grounds, and pets that are small enough to be carried may be allowed in the buildings.
