This monument to the battle that took place during the Revolutionary War in 1777, is a 306-foot tall stone obelisk which was opened to the public in 1891. There is an elevator in the monument to the observation deck which offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. Statues of John Stark, Seth Warner and other notable monuments adorn the grounds. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the site.
