The Grand Canyon is more than a great chasm carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau. Its timelessness provokes a comparison to our short existence, and its beauty and size are unlike anything else you will ever see.
Leashed pets are allowed in developed areas, such as picnic areas, parking lots, and along gravel and paved roads and on the trails above the rim. Leashes must be no longer than six feet. Pets are not allowed in the buildings or on trails, on park buses or in park lodging below the rim.
