Visitors have come to the hot springs here for more than two hundred years to treat illnesses and to relax. Eventually, a two built around the Hot Springs Reservation to cater to them.

Today, the Hot Springs National Park today preserves 47 springs in "America's Spa." Protected by Congress in a law passed in 1832, Hog Springs is the oldest, current national Park--40 years older than Yellowstone.

The promenade is a particularly nice place to walk with pets.
