The “natural bridge”, for which this 48-acre park is named, is made of 550 million year old bedrock marble and was naturally carved into an arch by the incredible force of glacial melt nearly 3,000 years ago. Hudson Brook rushes underneath this natural wonder as it makes it’s way through a steep 60-foot deep gorge.

During the summer months, be sure take advantage of knowledgeable park interpreters who are on hand to explain the natural forces which created the bridge! Leashed pets are welcome.
