Succor Creek State Natural Area sits in a deep, rocky canyon. It is a popular spot for rock collecting and watching wildlife. (The park allows limited souvenir collection of rocks).

A rough 15-mile dirt road leads from Oregon 201 to the park. The park has primitive camping and day-use areas along both side of the creek. No water is available.
