Fort Dummer State Park, 216 acres of forest located just outside of Brattleboro, is rich in history and serves to commemorate one Vermont’s earliest settlements. Walking trails are heavily wooded and provide ample wildlife viewing opportunities. Be on the look out for turkeys, deer, ruffed grouse and other native species. Leashed dogs are welcome.
