This park has nearly 10 miles of trails and is one of the area's most popular. The loop around Spring Lake is paved and accessible. Other nearby trails are more rugged. Keep a look out for horses and mountain bikes.
Each September, the lagoon is open for pets to swim each weekend. The "Water Bark" event is a fundraiser for the park's system. At other times of the year, dogs are not allowed to swim.
