Crabtree Falls is the highest vertical-drop cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. It's located just six miles off the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway near milepost 27.
Be aware that trails are steep and should not be attempted if you and your dog are not in shape for it. And keep your pet on leash for safety.
