The most remote of Vermont’s state parks, Maidstone speaks to the wilderness character of the Northeast Kingdom. Maidstone Lake is a 12,000 year old glacial lake and offers trout and salmon fishing. Loons can be spotted along the shore. This park also provides walking, hiking, and mountain biking trails.
