Located at Donner Memorial State Park is a campground of 154 sites, with picnic tables, restrooms (closed for the winter), beach, fishing, and lakeside interpretive trail that has 18 panels which discuss the natural and cultural resources in the area.

Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and under control at all times. Except for service dogs, pets are not permitted on the trails or at any interpretive programs. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be confined to a vehicle or tent at night.
