The 150 year-round residents of this town host the West's best preserved gold mining town from the 1860's. You can view over 100 historic buildings, ride the 1910 fully refurbished steam locomotive, the stagecoach, and visit Nevada City Ghost Town, just 1.5 miles away. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome to explore the town with you, but are not allowed in the buildings.
