This site depicts 18th and 19th century life in Beaufort and has six authentically restored historic buildings open for tours. Nearby is the Old Burying Grounds, where over 400 residents of the past have been laid to rest. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the grounds, but not in the buildings.
