This park comprises almost 16,000 acres, four-fifths of which is tidal salt marsh. It also includes impounded fresh water pools, brushy and timbered swamps, agricultural lands and timbered and grassy upland. Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the trails throughout the park.
